December’s Heart Hero of the Month

Kaiden’s story began in the summer of 2009 when we went to our 20-week ultrasound with excitement and anticipation to find out the gender of our twins. Our appointment didn’t go exactly as planned and we left with the news that something could be wrong with our baby boy’s heart. Two weeks later a pediatric cardiologist confirmed and diagnosed him with a Congenital Heart Defect, Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), and a month later discovered a second defect, Pulmonary Atresia (PA).

Kaiden is an inspiration to our entire family. He is an amazing brother, fabulous son, and loyal friend. He has a caring soul with immeasurable concern and desire to help others in need. We are grateful to be parents of such an amazing boy.
