Heart Hero of the Month November 2021

Olivia is 5 years old and was diagnosed at less than 24 hours old. We did have tests done during pregnancy that was all negative so it was quite a shock to find out she has 22q11 deletion. Olivia had a VSD, ASD, and vascular ring repair at 2 months old. 

CHD has completely changed everything we do. Life is much more delicate than we ever imagined. Olivia inspires us to not take anything for granted, especially our health. We live in Fremont, California. I’m a nurse and my husband works for Stanford. Together we created the lift with heart movement to help others become healthier through nutrition and fitness.
