In case you missed any of our Super Ideas for Fundraising, we’ll recap them here in the blog each week. Here are all the Super Ideas for Fundraising from week one:

Super Fundraising Idea #1: Sucker Sales are a simple fundraiser and very easy to execute. Each student is asked to donate a bag of suckers and then sold individually for 50 cents. Sales run before and after school (or ask your school when works best!) Consider also giving out a heart shaped sticker so they can wear it and show others.
Sucker sales can be advertised by posters around the school, in the school newsletter and school social media sites. Visit our website for more information!

Super Fundraising Idea #2: Every Friday in February have a special day and if students and teachers pay $1 they get to participate. For example, Hat Day, Pajama Day, Slippers Day, etc. Money is collected in their first class of the day.
Like all of these ideas, make sure to talk with your school first!

Super Fundraising Idea #3: Reach out to local car dealership(s) and ask them to donate a cape ($25) for every car sold the entire month of February. Or a flat amount such as for every car sold in February, (i.e. $100 will go towards children fighting CHD). Explain that they can display brochures and a cape in the store and promote that they support CHD awareness.
In 2014, Baxter Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Omaha, NE raised $8,415 for Heart Heroes in their third annual Cape-for-Car Drive!! We thank Baxter for continuing to have heart and support Heart Heroes!

You can choose how much you want to sell your t-shirt for with the proceeds going to Heart Heroes. Last year, we raised over $1,200 for Heart Heroes!! Learn more at www.booster.com.
